Time is running out to get your tickets for the 2015 Weltner Banquet.
This year, Attorney General Sam Olens will be honored at the dinner, to be held on Thursday Sept. 17, 2015 in the Silverbell Pavilion at the Emory Conference Center at 1615 Clifton Road N.E. Atlanta, GA 30329, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The foundation will also be honoring citizen journalist Nydia Tisdale, who was represented by the attorney general in a lawsuit filed on her behalf over open meeting violations in Cumming, Ga. Ms. Tisdale will receive the foundation’s 2015 Open Government Hero award.
To order a ticket online, first click the Donate button. On the screen that follows, enter $250 (for a single ticket) in the box labeled other amount and then scroll down and fill out the other required information (so we can properly acknowledge the tax deductible portion of your gift). Then click the Submit button. You will be sent to a PayPal page where you can either complete the transaction with a PayPal account if you have one, or you can choose choose the credit card option.
